Chapter 5

Photosynthesis

Acetyl CoA
Can: Citrate
I: Isocitrate
Kiss: a-Ketoglutarate
Sexy: Succinyl CoA
Susie: Succinate
For: Fumarate
More: Malate
Oxygen: Oxaloacetate

This is my love story.

When you kiss someone, you usually do it for oxygen. In reality, carbon dioxide is exchanged.
Isocitrate > a-Ketoglutarate > Succinyl CoA:
CO2 is produced.
She rejected and said "Nah". (NAD > reduced NAD)

When you see Sexy Susie, your heartbeat quickens and requires more energy.
Succinyl CoA > Succinate:
ATP is produced.

You get too excited and you farted. (FAD > reduced FAD)
Succinate > Fumarate

When you asked directly for more oxygen, she still rejected and said "Nah". (NAD > reduced NAD)
